Earthmoving, our way

What to wear for weeks in the bush

The History of Dobies
While fossicking through some archive folders in a search for something - I don’t remember what - I found two interesting relics from prehistory. One is the original drawing outlining what would become Nzo Dobies. I will come to the other in a few hundred words’ time.

2023 Report to Stakeholders
It has taken most of this year to get a new version of our favourite all-purpose shorts to market, and get a few more lined up for the New Year. Whatever it is about Nzo that appeals to people who become our customers, the durability of our products seems to figure in it.

The life cycle of a t shirt
Part one: Mid-ride, mid-shower, mid-life; take your pick. An idea pops into being. It gets drawn on whatever comes to hand, in the sort of short hand usually used by doctors.

The Nzo T shirt project
This week we slapped together a clip featuring a fraction of the t shirt graphics we have had the fun of producing over the last quarter century.

Sand and corrugations, and corrugations, and sand.
The morning schedule looks something like this: Stagger around in search of coffee. Having secured some, retire to window seat to check morning’s latest happenings.

Goodbye, old friend...
This week one of our mates shared a fond farewell message she was directing to her Deanos, the first piece of Nzo kit she ever had, procured long before we got acquainted and became friends.

Product testing and its downfalls
We’ll admit it. There are definite upsides to be in the business of bike stuff, and near to a whole heap of trails. People tell us we are very lucky, and we can’t disagree.

Nzo Sifters Summit New York
I was pretty stoked to hear from an Nzo fan in the states recently, telling us how much he loves his Sifters. He took them out on the trail for a test drive, too! Here’s what he had to say.

Dobies are twenty-one today!
Last year we celebrated two decades of Nzo. That means this year marks the coming of age of our most unruly offspring, the shorts we call Dobies.

Dusters, a poodle, and three lions
A few days ago we received the first production samples of the Nzo Dusters, a pair of pants we created for 24/7 activity. They fit like they are supposed to, and I can see this sample pair getting an everyday workout as soon as they are dry from their first laundering.

The Nzo Long Term Acid Test
When it comes to long term in-the-field testing of a mountain biking product, it is hard to argue with the patented method we have devised at Nzo.
