Nzo Deano bibshorts
Premium. Performance. Comfort.
- In stock
The Deano is the all-purpose bibshort every serious bike rider needs in their apparel pile.
Designed with multi-uses in mind, the Deano uses top-quality lycra and mesh to deliver a lightweight, comfy solution for long days on the road or off it.
Legs are held in place by tailored cuffs with not silicone gripper, which makes the Deano very friendly for riders who don't shave their legs (not that there is anything wrong with that ;-). The 'body' part of the garment is made of mesh with stretch binding, the legs are made of two grades of lycra, balanced perfectly on the spectrum of tough vs lightweight.
The magic is in the seat pad, where we don't go crazy with heavy duty foamage. We believe that the path to comfort on a bicycle saddle is spending time on a bicycle saddle, pure and simple. A seat pad takes the edge off and prevents chafing, but especially for mountain biking applications should not be thick enough to be noticeable. Ours is exactly in the sweet spot of that equation, and the same one we use in our Cruiseliner Deluxe to great reviews.
As a extra detail to finish the design we have two small pockets in the middle of the back, for stashing important items you don't want to lose.

Product FAQ's
Made to endure
Nzo products have a reputation for durability. We are not sure whether that is because our stuff really lasts longer than average, or maybe our customers are the kind of people that keep things they love for a long time. Either way, it is the happy outcome of many years of product testing and refinement by our founders.
If we don't use it, we don't sell it. We use the stuff we design and make in as many conditions as we can find, sometimes all in one glorious outing like the one in this slideshow, the Old Ghost Road on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. Products pushed to the limit on this trip were 247s, Gravelator, Short Sleeve Baselayer, Dobies, and Sifters. All are still in regular rotation.
